Identifying your car radio
If your car radio is a standard factory radio then you need to select the 1st option which has no extra charge. However if your radio is a premium system or amplified eg. BOSE, Command, MMI, Pro-Logic, Harmon Kardon, Porsche PCM etc. then your installation will require a premium lead - you then need to select either 2nd or 3rd option from this drop down. The below table should help you work out the type of radio in your car so you choose the correct option. Check speaker grills, radio facia panel for model numbers, check information on screen and handbook. Bluetooth® hands-free car kit A full system dedicated to conversation and music in car with blue OLED Screen The Parrot MKi9100 is a Bluetooth hands-free system with an OLED screen. A wireless remote control can be positioned on the steering wheel or dashboard and allows the driver to control all the functions of the MKi9100. Using the Car Kit The Parrot MKi9100 Bluetooth Car Kit automatically synchronises the names and phone numbers in your mobile with its phonebook and updates its phonebook each time a new entry is detected. To access your phonebook and make a call, simply press the green button and follow the menus on the OLED display: the Parrot MKi9100 voice recognition also recognises your voice and the name you are saying without any prior teaching process. You can also directly access the phonebook and browse all the names on the display and hear them thanks to the voice synthesis (Text To Speech). So simple! The Parrot MKi9100 Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit features a discreet and sober design and fits seamlessly inside the car. In the event of a call, the car radio cuts out, so that the speakers can transmit the conversation and the microphone clearly reproduces the sound of your voice. Listen to your digital music in the car The Parrot MKi9100 is also gifted for music. Supplied with a specific cable, it is compatible with all music sources, such as iPods, iPhones, USB flash drives, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) phones, MP3 players and any other analogue players. The MKi9100 Bluetooth car kit is supplied by Parrot with an ISO wiring loom to mute the radio and put the handsfree audio through the car speakers. If your car stereo does not support ISO then the installation will require a SOT adapter lead (also known as a ISO2Car) - this SOT lead is required for most cars and therefore is included in the quoted price. However if your car has an amplified sound system eg. BOSE, Command, MMI, Pro-Logic, Harmon Kardon etc. then your installation will require a premium lead which you will need to select from the drop down option at the top of this page.
