Mobile Connection Options The THB Bury Uni System 8 car kit base plate supports several connection options. Each option is explained below, however we recommend you select a phone specific Take&Talk cradle. If there is not one made for your handset then select one of the other three options: Phone Specific Take&Talk Cradle An original in-car charging lead for you mobile phone - available for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, iPhone, HTC PDA, Samsung and Blackberry. Simply plug it in to your cigar socket and in to your phone to keep it topped up and always ready for use.
Take&Talk UNI Bluetooth Holder with Charging Cable
A holder specific to your mobile device will be hardwired behind the dashboard. The holder is secured to the dashboard with a non-damage bracket. Simply pop the phone in the holder and it will start to charge!
Bluetooth Adapter with Touchscreen
A holder specific to your mobile device will be hardwired behind the dashboard. Simply pop the phone in the holder and it will start to charge! The holder can be unclipped and replaced for a different mobile by the end user in seconds! The holder backplate is secured to the dashboard with a non-damage bracket. Available for specific handsets.
Bluetooth Adapter
You will need to select this additional ISO2Car adapter lead for integrating your car radio speakers
If your car radio is a standard factory radio then you need to select option 0. However if your radio is a premium system or amplified eg. BOSE, Command, MMI, Pro-Logic, Harmon Kardon, Porsche PCM etc. then your installation will require a premium lead - you then need to select either option 1 or option 2 from this drop down. The below table should help you work out the type of radio in your car so you choose the correct option. Check speaker grills, radio facia panel for model numbers, check information on screen and handbook. If a cradle is not available for your mobile phone then we can supply a Universal Bluetooth cradle that works exactly the same way however you will have to insert a charging lead into the phone manually. The Universal Bluetooth cradle will be supplied with an integrated charging lead specific to your handset. If you change your handset in the future your new handset will work subject to compatibility however you may require a new charging lead. Using the Car Kit Simply insert the phone in the cradle and turn on the ignition. Then use the phones keypad as normal to make or receive calls. Installation The UNI System 8 car kit is supplied with an ISO wiring loom as standard by BURY. If your car stereo does not support ISO which is the case for most cars, you can still install the Bury kit using a ISO2Car SOT Adapter lead. Please select the correct option from the drop down list. If you are unsure you can contact us via the ask us about this item button at the top of this page or you can telephone us. You also have the option to select our onsite installation at additional cost from the drop down menu.
