Designed to support fibre optic cars the Gateway Lite MOST/D2B is a simple to use interface that is the standard entry level product for both iPod and USB integration in cars which cannot support text. The Dension Gateway Lite offers improved browsing and vehicle integration over the Gateway 100 and 300 when text display is not available for your vehicle.
Dension have improved the operations for the new Gateway lite, which allows the users to browse simply through tracks and albums rather than the complex menu system that dictates the usability of the Dension Gateway 100, which is primarily designed for vehicles that displays text on the stereo or cluster matrix on the dashboard. Simply connect the Dension interface to the CD changer socket of your stereo and start enjoying crisp, clean digital music. Imagine having access to over 10,000 MP3s at the touch of a button!
Gateway Lite MOST/D2B Operation
Dension translates CD changer messages to iPod controls and switches the iPod automatically on and off as you select/deselect the CD changer source and your iPod is charged while connected.
Using the Dension Lite iPod car kit
With the Dension Gateway Lite, the music tracks are navigated via the steering wheel controls and/or the CD changer buttons on the front of the stereo. CD changer button 6 selects the source and 1-5 selects the playlist or albums loaded on the USB. The usual buttons allow you to flip forward and backwards though the tracks when an album is selected. The iPod can be controlled from the click wheel and iPod operations are as normal, however the buttons on the steering wheel or stereo will cycle through the tracks.
The Dension Gateway Lite still offers all of the benefits of the Gateway 100 and 300, It charges your iPod when connected and also offers USB connectivity as satandard, this allows up to 8Gb of extra music to load into the system for your musical pleasure. .
