The MB-3 is an upgrade of its predessor the MB-2. The MB-3 has many new features including the new Parrot Bluetooth chip. Parrot are the industry leading manufacturer of Bluetooth hands free technology, and by using the Parrot Bluetooth chipset the MB-3 allows for increased compatibility with a wider range of Bluetooth enabled phones. The MB-3 is designed for all Mercedes Benz vehicles generally produced 2004 onwards with UHI/MHI Phone Connector System. iPod/iPhone Music Integration
The MB-3 exclusively features music integration with your factory fitted Mercedes audio system. Using the advanced inbuilt FM transmitter to transmit audio, the MB-3 can connect to an Apple iPod/iPhone via the included dock cable and to any MP3 player via the AUX input. This allows for crystal clear music playback through your original Mercedes audio system. The ViseeO MB-3 will also charge an iPod or iPhone via the 5v dock cable - so you do not need to worry about battery drain. The iPod/iPhone/MP3 Player can be stored out of sight in the centre armrest alongside the ViseeO MB-3 device.
Using the MB-3
Turn on the car engine and the phone connects wirelessly to the Bluetooth adapter. It will fully integrate with the radio system and steering wheel controls. As the MB-3 is a Bluetooth adapter it is capable of storing up to 3 recently paired phones in its memory displaying visual information and functions on your prized Mercedes instrument cluster or radio screen. To listen to iPhone/iPhone music simply connect your device to the supplied docking cable. For MP3 music an Aux input is available. The music is wirelessly transmitted via the built-in FM transmitter with 3 memory channels directly into the mercedes radio in near cd quality sound.

This unit works in all Mercedes cars with a MHI or UHI (Universal Handy Interface) connector (generally in cars made after 2004). The connector is usually found in your Mercedes armrest or on the dashboard. If you have never used a cradle then the connector will have a plastic cap over it as shown below:
